The Company operates a strict policy with regard to confidential information. An employee will not at any time either during their employment or afterwards, to the detriment or prejudice of the Company or any of the Company's customers, clients or suppliers, use or divulge to any person, firm or company, except in the proper course of their duties during their employment by the Company, any confidential information identifying or relating to the Company, details of which are not in the public domain, or such confidential information or trade secrets relating to the business of any service user, client or supplier of the Company which have come to your knowledge during your employment. We accept that this obligation will continue at all times both during and after the termination of their employment unless and until the confidential information has come into the public domain. The Company will regard any breach of confidentiality as a serious disciplinary offence and it will be referred for action under the Company's disciplinary procedure. Depending on the seriousness of the offence, it may amount to gross misconduct and could render the employee liable to summary dismissal.
Touchstones12 does not offer any guarantees with regard to abstinence and makes no unrealistic claim about being able to help or cure any individual of their emotional, physical or dependency problems. The client's risk of maintaining abstinence is entirely in the hands of the client; the project is effectively powerless over personal choices and therefore is not responsible for any choices that a client may make in line with the misuse of substances and/or alcohol. Fundamentally the project is an abstinence based supportive environment that will provide individuals with a space and the time to both reassess and reconsider their own personal position in life. Touchstones12 accept no responsibility for any client or former client who chooses to misuse prescription drugs, substances and/or alcohol.
